Teresa Cuevas began her training intensively at the Professional Performing Arts High School, where she performed with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. She continued her education at Hunter College where she attained her degree in dance.
Teresa has developed a love for teaching, and has been involved in dance education for over twenty years. As she continues to teach and tour nationwide, her performance credits include Off Broadway, The Danny Kaye and Sylvia Playhouse, Joyce Theater, City Center, Jazz at Lincoln Center, SummerStage, Greenspace, Pregones Theater, Meadowlands Arena, Dance Theater Workshop, Built On Stilts, The Hudson Guild and Dixon Place.
